my preparations for ULBS and ULBS
ULBS was a great test. I personally liked it because it took up so much time and it was a free period once u asked all 5 questions and finished your presentation. ULBS was an aural test that was compulsory for every student in the form as it determined a fraction of our marks for our SPM examinations. When my english teacher walked into the room telling us about ULBS and i felt like more stress decided to knock on my door. however,i let me be me and didnt take it too seriously. Once i reached home i started running through my mind about books which were also released in the form of movies. So after a decent amount of effort i found my book which i was going to be proudly presenting. the book was named LION as the main character's name means in the hindi language. it was a book telling a story of a 5 year old boy who was born in the lowest class among the people of India and lived in a home among the slums. he mounted a train not knowing where it would take him and he was taken to Calcutta. Fortunately after a series of events which almost claimed his life, he was lucky enough to be adopted by a wealthy australian family who provided more than Saroo could have or wanted as a boy. Few years later he then remembered about his blood family and decided to search for them and coincidently google maps was just released. google maps played a big part in helping him find his home and low behold he found his home and reunited with his family. however there was a tragic incident that happened when he was lost which is for you to find out when you read the book.
